Job Description

Primary Role Purpose

Support the recruitment process from beginning through to offer acceptance providing a clear handover over to HR Admin at that stage.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the posting of job adverts on various portals, the Internet and Intranet as directed – changing the tone/text to suit the audience
  • Maintain an accurate record of global resourcing activity for tracking purposes, chasing approval forms/benchmarking data/etc. and managing regular updates from the RBPS, HRBPs and regional HR teams.
  • Support the resourcing team with administrative tasks such as arranging interviews, booking rooms and notifying Reception of visitors when required
  • Ensure all interviews notes are recorded and collated from the hiring managers and Resourcing BP and duly stored
  • Support the use of direct sourcing efforts via social media such as LinkedIn and other methods, ensuring suitable incoming profiles are identified and shared with the RBPs and/or hiring manager
  • In collaboration with the RBPs review all applications to Inmarsat, from agencies or direct – forwarding speculative and suitable candidates to the relevant person and ensuring all applicants are responded to in a timely manner
  • Book travel for prospective candidates coming to interview and ensure any expenses are processed by payroll
  • Assist the Resourcing BP’s with an assessment activities
  • Ensure any internal referrals or agency placement fees are processed and that POs/other paperwork are raised where necessary
  • Assist Procurement in maintaining a central repository of T&Cs agreed with preferred suppliers and assist in managing the relationship with existing agencies.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills within a recruitment/HR environment are essential
  • Highly attentive to detail
  • Previous recruitment experience gained within in-house teams or alternatively an RPO is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and fluent in English
  • Experience working in a high pressure, high volume recruitment team

  • An interest in communications and/or satellite technology
