Primary role purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to work on all aspects of pricing implementation in existing and new systems. This includes process documentation and all system related activities from Pricing Tool maintenance to PAMS/DMS/Template configuration. This role is intended to be an expert in legacy and evolving rate plan details including pricing rules, charging policies, as well as pricing terms and conditions. In addition, this role will be responsible for ad hoc reporting and analysis on a number of pricing related activities including special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibility is pricing implementation for all aspects of Inmarsat’s pricing operations. This includes all levels of pricing process, governance, implementation and communication.

This positon is responsible for special pricing analysis, PAMS and DMS approvals, rate plan implementation and maintenance across all Inmarsat products and services. This includes both PAMS/DMS template configuration as well as Streamlining updates. In addition, this role will work closely with contracts and IT to verify contract amendments and rate plan details as well as completing testing on a number of billing/rating related systems.

This position is also responsible for NSDA/MSA/SPA edits and maintenance along with ad hoc analysis supporting the implementation of pricing plans and associated reporting to monitor key performance factors.

In addition to implementation, this position will manage equipment pricing set up and maintenance in SAP along with price list updates for the global company.  This will require collaboration across various divisions and analysis of materials across the various sales organizations.  Acting as the liaison between Sales and the Contracts Operations, it is the responsibility of this position to ensure all documents and approvals are in place prior to proceeding to Contract Operations for document creation.

  • Extensive experience in process documentation;
  • Experience in the satellite/telecommunications industry would be preferably;
  • Extensive detailed knowledge of Inmarsat rate plans and billing systems;
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and translate this into meaningful value-add end user analysis;
  • Experience of data analysis in a telecommunications industry including both data and voice services would be advantageous;
  • Well-developed skill in multi-tasking and time management to promptly handle many different requests while under time constraint pressures;
  • Highly motivated self-starter, comfortable working on both independent and team projects;
