Job Description

Primary Purpose:

The P2P Administrators – Project team will undertake all activities required to clear the current Purchase Order and Invoice payment backlog which could include, but not limited to, invoice processing, query handling and escalation, raising new PR’s, amending current PO’s for the Procurement Ops and Accounts Payable team as part of an end to end backlog clearing exercise.   

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using all necessary means to ensure the business users are receipting items when delivered / received which may include contacting via email, phone, Skype and escalating where required
  • Assisting the business users to help them resolve all queries on a timely basis
  • Reversing receipts and invoices where required in order to support the goods receipting process
  • Liaising proactively with business to ensure purchase requisitions and data ha been entered correctly
  • Contacting approvers to chase up PR approvals in SAP where required
  • Keeping SAP updated to reflect the correct receipter of goods & services
  • Management and update of delivery dates to support the business in goods receipting
  • Using Winshuttle (consolidation tool), to update SAP in an automated way where applicable
  • Working with Operational leads from Proc Ops and Accounts Payable to identify pain points and process improvement opportunities
  • Contacting vendors to request they quote POs and send the invoices directly to AP
  • Support Procurement and Accounts Payable team in cleansing data in SAP

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent and proven experience of working within the end to end Procure to Pay process using SAP and with multiple currencies and locations
  • Experience of working with data in a complex and dynamic organisation within the P2P process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence to escalate within the business to all levels when required
  • Operational Excellence mind-set with a view on continuous improvement and exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products, excel in particular

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience working in a complex global or multisite FTSE100/FTSE250
