Job Description

The Role and Requirements:

The successful candidate will be at the heart of the Inmarsat brand, working in the corporate marketing department as part of the Digital team.  Additionally, this position plays a vital role in the successful communication of our Business Unit objectives.   

 

As the Marketing Campaigns Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for the Digital team in maintaining and running the Pardot solution - producing digital email marketing campaigns for Corporate messaging and supporting the BU Campaigns Managers to ensure they are maximising Pardot. However, that is not all, you will have opportunities to get involved in other areas of Marketing: Social, Strategy Branding, Events and you will work closely with the Digital Content Manager and other key stakeholders to determine what information is required on landing pages and other digital marketing campaigns. As the Marketing Campaigns Manager, you will ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting tight deadlines. You must have an outstanding attention to detail, be very organised and have strong communication and time management skills.

 

This position lies at the core of Inmarsat’s digital marketing information flow. You will contribute to the briefing process, and assist and support the delivery of campaigns to meet exacting deadlines by managing each step in the workflow. You will need some basic coding ability in HTML and CSS but, most importantly, you will need to bring your rock-solid knowledge of Pardot.

Job Requirements

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Working with BU stakeholders on planning and executing Pardot marketing campaigns
  • Ensuring all marketing campaigns are delivered on time and within budget
  • Overseeing Pardot campaigns from beginning to end ensuring they meet the target objectives
  • A/B Testing campaigns to trial new ideas for effectiveness
  • Reporting campaign results to stakeholders and explaining variances
  • Working to strict deadlines and KPI’s as set by the Digital Marketing Director
  • Reporting on campaign return on investment and making recommendations
  • Creating surveys and other data collection methods in cooperation with stakeholders and aid in the interpretation and dissemination of results

Essential knowledge and skills:

  • Experience running Pardot campaigns or as a Pardot admin
  • Educated to degree level with excellent oral and written command of English
  • Background in marketing communications and/or campaign management
  • Demonstrable knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Extensive experience working on a variety of marketing campaigns from inception to completion.
  • Strong technical ability and marketing platform experience.
  • Relevant industry experience gained from a similar company would be a strong advantage.
  • An ability to work to organisational deadlines and KPI’s.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to deliver to demanding deadlines
  • Enthusiastic team player who can also work on own initiatives

 

Desirable skills

  • Experience of the Digital Marketing mix
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry or B2B is an advantage
  • Able to work in a transparent manner, utilising project management software and ready to provide updates at any time
  • Experience of dealing with and/or managing external digital agencies
