Job Description

Primary role purpose:

Our interns join a structured programme for the summer and spend 9 weeks within a department whilst also participating in a broader programme that will provide an introduction to Inmarsat as well as helping develop some basic business skills.

The core assignment for this role will be within the People Function working with either the Reward or Organisation Effectiveness teams on specific projects.

Job Requirements

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • A strong interest in Human Resources
  • Good time management
  • Be absolutely discreet and trustworthy with confidential information, with the strictest respect for confidentiality over any information exposed
  • A high degree of organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and an ability to plan and prioritise workload.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills and a good command of the English language
  • A high energy level with a dynamic, positive style. Open, assertive manner and good humour.
  • A highly proactive approach, the perception to instigate improvements and initiative to follow through

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

  • Working towards a degree preferably in Business, Management or
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft office and a willingness to learn Inmarsat in-house packages and procedures
