Job Description

Primary role purpose:

Inmarsat is the world’s leading provider of global mobile satellite communications services, delivering reliable voice and high-speed data communications on land, at sea and in the air.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Product Document Coordinator to work closely with Product Delivery Managers, to edit and manage internal and external cross-market technical and commercially-focused product documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Governance of Product Data Sheets (PDS), which are mainly commercially-focused (with varying degrees of technical content) high-level overviews of our products, which form part of our contractual customer documentation
  • Management and maintenance of the internally and externally-focused content on Inmarsat’s Intranet site for cross-market products and services

Your precise attention to detail, organisational skills, passion for standardisation and ability to motivate people while sticking to timelines are key to this role. Equally important will be your solid background in copywriting to edit relevant documents prepared by the Product Delivery Managers for consistency and with a single tone of voice. This is a unique opportunity to learn about a range of technical products in the satellite communications industry while using your previous writing experience and your top notch skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other publishing tools, as they are critical for your success in this role.
