Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working with the Service Delivery Transformation team to ensure the Change and Communications strategy and subsequent plans are fit for purpose and align with the requirements of the overall change and communication strategies of Inmarsat.
  • Dealing with multiple smaller projects (circa £300k to £500k each) and work alongside the Programme Director.
  • Advising the project managers at what point in the project lifecycle when to communicate to business sponsors during the testing phase
  • Coordinate and organise user training/workshops and user adoption accordingly, ensuring teams and individuals understand and adopt to the change.
  • Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
  • Acting as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor. You may also be required to provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.
  • The successful Change Manager will have experience in applying change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Support training efforts, by providing input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.

Job Requirements

You will be expected to:

  • Deliver a range of change and communications artefacts both at the OneIT programme and individual project levels.
  • Support the delivery of change and communications working closely with key project team members to investigate, analyse, and resolve business or technical queries.
  • Deliver change and communications training and facilitate relevant meetings and workshops within the OneIT Programme and at the project levels.
