Primary Purpose of the Role:
Help build a productive organization with the capabilities needed to deliver operational and project activities.
Manage Global Government (G2) IT tools as a portfolio to support effective sales delivery and operations, aligned with business requirements. Ensure architectural, project management and development methodologies are consistently and appropriately used.
Promote best in class change management practices, ensure product/process adoption is successful and opportunities for ongoing improvement are realized.
Key Responsibilities:
Global leader for G2 building, maintaining and supporting business critical operational processes, systems and services.
Deployment of customer facing sales tools, systems and dashboards that facilitate self service provisioning by the sales team, diagnostics and automated resolution.
Support the development of Sales Force and Tableau dashboards for business intelligence
Identify opportunities for automation, removing mundane repeatable tasks, reducing business process cycle time and increasing quality and customer satisfaction.
Maintain good fiscal discipline ensuring operational CAPEX and OPEX expenditures are in line with budget expectations.
Work closely with the corporate PEC team to deliver cross functional processes and procedures
Liaise with Marketing, CTO, COO, GCO, other BU peers to on-board new processes and procedures;
Support the implementation of ServiceNow the COO.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Must have a technical background in IT and/or satellite communications.
Must have demonstrable experience of work-stream management and tools implementation
As this position directly supports Inmarsat customers in a global community who operate in numerous different time zones, it is essential that working hours are flexible. The staff-member in this role will be expected to work with their line manager to adjust working hours to deliver services as required by the role while maintaining a satisfactory work – life balance.
As this role requires travel, both domestically and internationally, the staff-member in this role will be required, on an irregular basis and provided reasonable notice, to travel sometimes for periods exceeding 7 days, and if required to travel on weekends to meet on-site weekday commitments.
It is expected for homeworkers to spend at least 1 week a month in the London Offices
Ability to prepare and deliver technical and / or commercial presentations and reports to both internal and external clients.
Ability to prepare and internally champion business cases/processes in support of new solution initiatives

Must be able to understand and advocate compliance with Inmarsat processes and procedures
Must be self-motivated and be able to motivate their peers to achieve required task and project completion to the best standard in a busy environment
